Perhaps one of the most unique aspects of the powerhouse music label that is known as Roc Nation is that they take great pride in their roots. With efforts by Desiree Perez and JAY-Z, Roc Nation has continued to show support through their various charity work and partnership with certain charitable foundations. While their music artists discuss issues that affect neighborhoods both local and across the country, it is the company that uses the money those artists receive to help give back to those communities.
One new project that Desiree and JAY-Z helped become part of is the opening of Webster Hall in New York City. In keeping with its focus on giving back to the community, Roc Nation accepted BSE Global’s invitation to open the historic building. For a while, the Webster Hall was closed to the public for renovations. At long last, this building that has been a key choice for music artists since the 1800s is being reopened for concert goers again. While JAY-Z may be headlining the opening, there are many other artists who will be playing as well. Desiree Perez and Roc Nation continue to give back.
