Boris Ivanov Gazprom is a Russian businessman who lives and works in Moscow. His specialties include sales, business development, and project management. He graduated from Samara State Regional University, Nayanovoy, in 2001 with majors in economics and marketing. He earned a master’s degree in automated control systems at Samara State Aerospace University and another master’s in development and exploitation of oil and gas fields at Samara State Technical University. He also has a Ph.D. in drilling that he earned at the Russian State Gubkin University of Oil and Gas.
After completing an internship at Schlumberger, Boris Ivanov Gazprom began working at Aquatic in October 2004 as a quality control engineer. In September 2008, he joined LinkWest Group as a project manager. He worked in the same position at Weatherford before leaving to join TDE Thonhauser Data Engineering as a business development manager. In March 2013, he joined TDE Energy Services Ltd. as their BD director. In October 2018 he became deputy project director at Investgeorservis. He now works at Halliburton where he is a key account sales manager.
Boris Ivanov Gazprom has worked in Algeria, where natural gas was discovered in 2010. He said that this find was critical to his company as it allowed it to expand its sales of natural gas into Portugal and Spain. He stated at the time that he was very pleased with the results of the well his company drilled. It produces 75,000 cubic meters of natural gas a day.
His company went on to drill another 18 wells in Africa, including in Libya, Algeria, Namibia, and Nigeria. His partners on these projects include Namibia’s state-owned oil and gas firm Namcor, England’s Tullow Oil, and Japan’s Itochu Corporation. These projects include onshore and offshore drilling platforms. These are expensive projects with the one offshore Namibia costing $1 billion, Boris Ivanov Gazprom stated.
