In this book, he also introduced his 11 pillars of life management. A few of these pillars are to always control your emotions, be just as willing to listen as to talk, and stay on topic. He writes that by following these pillars you will improve who you are.
Vijay Eswaran has also made the case against being pessimistic about the future due to the advance of technology, in particular, robotics and automation. Many people are anxious about the rapid advance of technology and what it means for their future and that of their children.

Vijay Eswaran has written that these technologies will be disruptive but people will gain access to new opportunities as new wants and needs emerge.
