The Last year’s L’Oreal Paris second annual beauty and fashion show was all glitz and glamour. Top names from beauty, fashion, and silver screen attended the auspicious event. The occasion, which was open to the public, was held at Paris River Seine, the heart of French capital. Showcased were seasons new looks and a platform for Nicolas Krafft to highlight the brand’s dedication to making fashion and beauty more affordable and accessible.
A floating Runway
L’Oreal showed the world the first ever runaway in water. The uniquely designed 60-meter floating runway on the Seine River took eight days to put up and take down. Among the studded line-up of models that walked for L’Oreal Paris were Elle Fanning, Eva Longoria, and Louise Bourgoin. Nicolas Kraffts’s central focus of the show was the diversity in women’s beauty. The show spotlighted on creativeness and diversity, the two aspects associated with the French capital from which L’Oreal Paris’s draws inspiration.
Outside the world of fashion, familiar faces such as the Games of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), and Paralympics ski champion Marie Bochet, graced the event. The new ambassador of L’O real Paris made her runway debut. L’Oreal Paris seized this occasion to display the hottest fashion looks and its commitment to bring beauty to all universally.
Val Garland, L’Oreal Makeup Artist, and Stéphane Lancien, Global Hair Artist, fashioned 70 innovative hairs and makeup looks for the unique show. The newest collected works and ornaments from Chopard were paraded in the runway by models. Many passers-by and tourists were able to glimpse the show for free courtesy of giant screens set up for the event. The entire event was filmed by drones, with over 30 countries simultaneously broadcasting the show. This way Nicolas Krafft was able to reach out to the world.
Who is Nicolas Krafft?
Krafft is the Pulp Riot brand’s International General Manager. For the last decade, Krafft has worked as a product manager and moved up the scale to become the VP of Global Business Development. Among his success is launching new products and increasing a worldwide presence for L’Oreal brands like Biolage and Matrix.
