Glen Wakeman was born in 1968 in a humble village in Miami, in his Bachelor’s education, he studied B.S in Economics and Finance at the University of Scranton from 1977 to 1981, and he later did his master’s degree in Finance at the University of Chicago from 1991 to 1993. During his career, Wakeman was known through his mentoring, entrepreneurial spirits and as a famous revolutionary of business.
Glen Wakeman’s career and what he likes most includes developments of M&As, guidance for startup which has led to people with money, but do not have business minds are assisted in starting a business that is thriving, and many are making their livings from Wakeman ideas.
He has lived in six different countries and was well exposed and was responsible for operations in the thirty regions worldwide and he gained a lot of recognition and entrepreneurial skill which led to his idea of starting a firm. In 2015, Wakeman founded his foundation which he named it Launchpad Holdings LLC which is a SAAS corporation.
In Glen Wakeman’s early life, he was holding a position at Doral Financial Corp, GE Capital, plus as the founder of the company Nova Four. Wakemen roles were business development, president of the organization, CEO, and held the board of directors’ administrative position. He is famous for his proven methodology of 5-step performance, focusing on human capital, risk management, leadership power as well as execution in the business.
Living as an investor and writer, Glen Wakeman was able to share ideas through blog posts, emerging markets and administration. He also served as a mentor and has aided various levels of executives and currently counsels Dreamfunded and sitter bees.
The idea of starting the Launchpad was matching ideas with making money has always been something he likes doing. Lots of good ideas are derived from talented startups, and he didn’t understand why so often he found failure rates are high. He further said that when looking for those ideas he found that the ideas lacked structure around each.
People do not always know what to do with their ideas. Hence, Wakeman found it wise coming up with any ideas of developing software that was to analyze and help the individual in structuring his ideas and getting fruits out of it. That was the rise of Launchpad.
