Following controversial comments by George Galloway, Daniel Taub, Israel’s ambassador to Britain visited the city of Bradford under tight security. George Galloway, the MP for Bradford West constituency, has reportedly declared the constituency an Israel free zone. In his statement, Galloway is reported to have said that his constituency doesn’t want Israel tourists, goods, services, and students to visit the area.

While talking to Telegraph & Argus, Taub revealed that he was invited by various community groups following George’s comments. He added that he is scheduled to meet religious leaders, councilors and other groups in the course of the trip.

According to Taub, his first impression of Bradford was a city with an attitude different from what the MP is advocating for. He said that Galloway’s voice of exclusion doesn’t represent Bradford as the city’s real voice is that of inclusion. As stated by Taub, this signifies how people can work, live and co-operate together despite having different faiths and backgrounds. Learn more about Daniel Taub:
